Beautiful monuments, great history, surrounded by the Wabash River. Everything was neat and clean, the park rangers friendly and helpful. The bridge from Indiana to Illinois was stunning. I’m going again.
Before visiting here I never knew about George Rogers Clark. Now, because of Park Ranger my family and I know the story of this great American and the part he played in the Revolutionary War.
An often overlooked National Historic Park, with an impressive monument on the Wabash River. Small in acreage, but important in frontier history, it's free to visit and walk the grounds. Great for kids and adults alike.
Incredible treasure of American Revolutionary War history with incredible connections to the settlement of the old Northwest Territories. Take a few hours to enjoy this wonderful site and learn about GRC.
Informed ranger about important history of the frontier areas and George Rogers Clark during the Revolutionary War. Large murals in the memorial building, and displays and film in the visitor's center. Ranger had good rapport with a Junior Ranger girl.
