Called and was told that it would cost $113 to have my tooth pulled, made an appointment to just have my tooth pulled. Was told that they would have to make another appointment for that. I was in excruciating pain and begged them to do it that day. After an hour of unnecessary X-rays and exams and them trying to get me to agree to teeth whitening, a healthy fun program ect that they could have used pulling my tooth I had to wait another two hours to get my tooth pulled, which is why I was there to start with. Then they have to prepay, I was charged 249 I said I was told 113, she gave me 20% off which was 200. Still not the $113 I was quoted on the phone, but at this point it was 6 pm at night and I couldn’t wait until the next day. So I had no choice. They were very busy and I appreciated them getting me in, the office Manager was very nice, it was her last day of training and then she was going to her store and she was sorry she didn’t know how to fix it. The dr numbed me and after 45 minuets finally got my tooth out. I instantly had shooting pains up my face, I was given a wet paper towel for my face and told it was normal. I take tramadol at home for my back and was told that was strong enough for the pain. My prescription was out and I had one left, I told the dr that and that I needed something for the pain, he reluctantly wrote me a prescription for 10 norco 5’s after rolling his eyes. Right before he saw me he saw a guy across from me who also had a tooth pulled and he was given 20 norco 7.5s. I know this because he loudly tells his assistant what he is prescribing to each patient. Previous to him he ordered the same prescription to a man who had a tooth pulled as well. So either because I was a woman or because I was on a non narcotic pain reliever he treated me differently. I was given amoxicillin, an antibiotic as well and sent home filled both and took as directed. At 2am I was in so much pain I went to the er and begged them to renumb my mouth so I could sleep which they gladly did. I went home slept and suffered for three more days. Friday morning I had a fever and couldn’t take the pain anymore and went back. I was told by the woman dr that she could smell the infection and that I had dry socket, she then washed out the blood clot and filled it with something to fix the dry socket. I told her I only had one dose of antibiotics left and that I had a mass under my jawline and she said it had nothing to do with my tooth extraction. She did not prescribe me anymore antibiotics and told me to finish my prescription I had. So I went to my PCP who said I had a nasty infection and she prescribed me a stronger antibiotic. So I went home and started taking them, this was Friday. I know that they can take 3-4 days to kick in. All weekend I had a fever and was throwing up but kept taking them hoping they would start working soon. Wednesday morning I couldn’t take it and my mom was staying with me because I was so sick. She called to see if they could call me in some nausea medicine and pain medication since I was in so much pain and had been out of pain medication since day two because they only wrote me enough for a day and a half. They said not without seeing me and that I could come on in anytime, so she said “okay how about 430 today” the guy said “no can’t do that”, “okay tomorrow anytime after 3?” Again he said “no can’t do that, if she’s in that much pain and has a fever she needs to go to the er” my mom informed him we saw my PCP and that the er would cost a lot and that they would just tell us that it was a dental issue and that I needed to see my dentist. She then asked when could I come in and was told that they didn’t have any openings after 3pm until the following week. She asked why he said anytime and again they were unwilling to work with us. This is the worst experience I have ever had. I will be filing a lawsuit and don’t recommend them to anyone, no matter what!!
I needed a tooth extracted right away. Called Aspen Dental, Vincennes, IN morning of 10-25-17, they got me in same day and pulled my bad molar. Very pleased, no pain, very nice and professional, accepted my insurance, all is GOOD! Thank you!
Not sure what these idiots do in there but was a complete waste of 3hours to get nothing done their communication skills are the worst stay away unless you want to waste your day
This office is always so Friendly. They are always smiling. The dentist are great when it comes to explaining what is being done. Andrea at the front desk is very knowledgeable about prices and making sure you're taken care of and deb in the finance office is amazing!
I had a really good experience. I left there knowing I would have to go though a major surgery. Having my teeth pulled and dentures. I left without my nerves even bothering me,because I have a fear of dentist and doctors.
